Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Amita graduated from The George Washington University in May 2025 and is a 22-year-old photographer/videographer, editor, and motion designer based in the DMV. She's been making videos since she was in elementary school with her dad's Canon T1i and Windows Movie Maker. (Click here if you want to see a relic from that era)

As a recent college grad, she's a hopeful and driven video producer who is passionate about using storytelling to reach audiences that diversify our digital landscape.

In her free time, you can find Amita running (literally) around the city, yelling at the TV during a tennis match, and hosting her friends for a dinner party.
